A British motoring magazine ran a segment called the "0-100-0 Challenge" a few years back in which cars were timed from a standing start, upto 100 MPH then back down to a complete stop. To give you an idea of how fast this Caterham is, some of the faster cars tested by the British magazine included a Ferrari F40, Ford RS200E Group B rally car and a modified AC Cobra similar to the Robnell Cobra's featured on this site. Their times respectively were:

Standard Production Class:
Caterham 7 JPE - 12.6 (driven by ex-F1 driver Jonathan Palmer)
Ferrari F40 - 15.9 sec

Modified Class:
AC Cobra - 13.4 sec
Ford RS200E - 13.7 sec (driven by former world rally champ Stig Blomqvist)
